I am a heavy user, and is where Polarity intensive users can make a difference. But there are three little things that make it very difficult to work as a heavy user with Polarity:
1- No restores the tabs when you exit. I have at least 7 open continuously, and it is impractical to remember them all every time I go back.
2. Do not allow folder bookmarks. I have more than 300 markers, and grouped by theme and so are manageable. A list of 300 sorted by date is not manageable ..
3- It would be useful to talk to the Web of Trust, to implement an extension to Polarity, it saves a lot of time to search the Web discarding the bad sites.
4- A useful application that goes with Polarity is not Whatsapp Web.

Hello and I'm glad you find Polarity useful. 1-Polarity can save tabs on exit which you can configure in the settings window. Simply open the settings window and scroll down to "Close Behavior" There you can select "Always save tabs." 2-Storing bookmarks in separate folders is certainly something I am working on at the moment for the large future update. Stay tuned! 3-Polarity actually has Web o Trust built into the browser. You can enable it by opening the settings window, open the Page Load/Performance tab, and then check the "Web Filter" option. With that enabled, Polarity would automatically warn you of any dangerous websites and would also block ones that are known to be highly malicious. Of course, there will be a whitelist implemented for the next version of Polarity. 4-I have marked Whatsapp Web as a future web app to add to the store. I hope you are currently enjoying Polarity and thank you for the feedback. If you like what I am doing with Polarity, please spread the word since I am a solo developer and could really use the support. I would really appreciate it.

I too need folder support for bookmarks. Importing from Firefox or Chrome the exact layout I have in those browsers is vital. I'd dump both of those if I could have my bookmarks. Looking forward to the feature being included.

I did notice that Bookmark import was from IE, Chrome, Opera or a file. The absence or Firefox was a surprise. But what was a bigger surprise was that file import did not retain its folder structure, but flattened it out.
In addition, I found the import process requiring a 'folder' to be specified to be unexpected. I would have thought that importing into the root would be preferable. As it stands, it just adds another layer to the bookmark structure; although given the lack of current layer structure, in terms of layers, I guess that is not an issue. The items currently in a side menu for each bookmark entry, may well be better served as a right-click context menu, which will work out better if you can support a bookmark tree structure. The 'bookmarks bar' could then be a branch.
There did not seem to be any scroll-wheel support for the bookmark list either, only a (very tiny) top and bottom scroll button set. Given that these have the potential to hit the top and bottom of the window, it makes them hard to use.

Hey @dgreen7,
Thanks for the feedback. The exclusion of Firefox was simply due to the way Firefox stored its bookmarks. So far we haven't had a parser that could extract the bookmarks since they are stored in the same files as the settings and extracting it could be a bit messy. However, I will look into a solution for it. So far, the only way to import bookmarks from Firefox is through an HTML file.
The folders are not retained from importing bookmarks from other browsers is due to Polarity's bookmark structure being different. I am still looking into a solution for that.
As for importing bookmarks in general, you are able to import the bookmarks to root. Just leave the dropdown field blank or select "Default" and the bookmarks will be imported to the base level.
The bookmarks menu scrolling is something that has to do with the controls used to display the bookmarks. Although it won't be a priority as of now to fix due to my outside work, it is something I'll be considering for the next major update.

Sounds good Stanley. I'll look into the bookmark import again (although I'll also look into a subset for Polarity, without a tree structure, many bookmarks become a liability). I don't recall seeing "default" as an option on the new install. Although it is there now.
