Hi,
Today i installed this new browser on my PC (Windows 7 SP1), but this doesn't open. (I open Task Manager, and i seen that Polarity.exe works for a few seconds, then it's closed. Also i see for a few seconds a notification that say 'BugSplat')
Also i noticed that when i use the online installer, the aplication doesn't install shortcut in desktop or start menu, and i don't know if this is normal or not...
I tried the online installer and the portable version, and is the same problem. I have Visual C++ 2012 Installed and Framework 4.5
Please someone help me. i really want give a chance to this new Browser, because today i'm finding a new one and i've tried these browsers today:
Google Chrome, Firefox, Vivaldi, Opera, Torch, Comodo Dragon, UC Browser, Maxthon, MxNitro, Servo, Sparks, etc... and at this time Yandex is my new favourit browser!! but i still want try Polarity browser.
Thanks in advance. Regards

Hello,
Thank you for your feedback. Please make sure that the Visual C++ 2012 Redistributables is 32 bit in order for Polarity to work. I would also recommend trying to uninstall and reinstall Polarity since it might be a problem with file access to load the settings.
As for creating shortcuts, it is created when you first run Polarity with the setup dialog.
Thank you.

I have read the entire post and answered your questions as to the troubles that you have experienced with Polarity. Cases like this are very uncommon and I don't really need to address this issue often. Without enough detail, I can't seem to fix your issue.

So there is no messagebox that would popup displaying the actual error information? If you can get that info, it would help a lot.
Again, I would recommending uninstalling and then reinstalling to see if it remedies this issue. You can also try running the program as admin since it could be an error from file permissions when Polarity tries to load the settings files.
