Google+ has introduced a new UI.
When you click on a picture in the feed, you get a image which will fill in most of the viewport on a black background.
And this does appear for a moment, then the viewport turns white. The page still has source code, but nothing (visible) is displayed. Pressing 'back' (navigation button), again briefly displays the expected image before the feed is displayed.
Switching the Google+ UI back to 'Classic' restores the normal operation of zoom-in display.
Installed today, using v. 8.3.0 build 777
